Customer Case 03 : Indonesian hot press customizing the double inlet and double outlet heat cycle hot platens

An Indonesian client with a hot press veneer board dryer machine encountered inefficiency with the original design, which featured a single inlet and outlet for heat. Additionally, the heat plates lacked surface grooves, leading to sub optimal veneer moisture distribution.

We redesigned the heat plates with a dual inlet and outlet system, allowing for more efficient heat transfer (suitable for both steam and thermal oil heating). We also added 2mm surface rhombus grooves to improve moisture discharge  across the plates.

The client well accepted with the enhanced efficiency and performance of the new heat plates, which met their expectations. We are capable of designing and customizing heat plates, hot press platens in various thicknesses from 42mm to maximum 90mm and sizes from 3*6ft to 9*12ft to meet specific customer needs.
